- Title
SMALL WORLDS WITH COSMIC POWERS.
- Authors
SIMPSON, WILLIAM M. R.
- Abstract
The article focuses on contrasting two dispositionalist theories, Bohmian dispositionalism and Cosmic Hylomorphism, within the context of quantum mechanics and the wave function's role. Topics include addressing the "Small Worlds" objection to Humeanism, analyzing how each theory accounts for particle behavior in different world scales, and arguing that Cosmic Hylomorphism's global power rooted in a "Cosmic Form" provides a superior explanation compared to Bohmian dispositionalism.
