- Abstract
A monolayer broadband antenna with surveying for global navigation satellite system (GNSS) is presented, and a monolayer high-performance composite is chosen as the common dielectric substrate of the dual-frequency microstrip antenna. Dual -band radiation patches use a coplanar sawtooth structure, and some short- circuit probes distributed on the edge of the antenna can improve axial-ratio bandwidth and low elevation gain of antenna. The four-feed network is designed to achieve a stability reliable phase center of antenna. The 5 dBi radiation gain bandwidths of dual-frequency antenna are both greater than 245 MHz, and the 3 dB axial-ratio bandwidth of high-frequency antenna unit and of low-frequency antenna unit are -76° ~ 76° and -116° ~ 116° respectively, and the gain slide of antenna is less than 11. 5 dB in low angle of elevation for 90°. The experimental results show that the simulation results and the testing results are in agreement. The measured spectrum shows that the developed antenna can cover all corresponding operating bandwidth for GNSS. Especially it is suitable for the terminal equipment of precision measurement and positioning for GNSS.
