- Abstract
This article presents a case study related to occupational photocontact dermatitis from olaquindox, a derivative of quinoxaline. A 45-year-old male presented with red scaly lesions on the forehead, cheeks and bridge of the nose. Similar lesions were present on the sides and the back of the neck and the presternal area. The dorsa of the hands showed red, scaly lesions with mild infiltration. The patient said the eruption had first appeared some months earlier, like an acute contact dermatitis. He had no previous or atopic history.
