The authors comment on the article "Poverty impedes cognitive function," by A. Mani et al., and "The poor's mental power," by K. D. Vohs et al. They say that Mani et al., showed the harmful effects of poverty on cognitive tasks demanding working memory and logical thinking via a series of experimental and field research.
