- Abstract
Future and larger institutional studies are necessary to confirm if IL-17 inhibitors are more effective for use in PPP in addition to exploring the possibility of utilizing new biologic therapies for treatment, including but not limited to IL-1 antagonists and JAK inhibitors. The results of this retrospective study suggest that IL-17 inhibitors may be more effective than anti-TNF and IL-23 inhibitor therapies in the treatment of PPP. Thirty-three patients were found to have utilized at least one dose of these therapies, and clearance levels were examined to determine treatment outcome.
