- Abstract
The institutional newspaper is a newsletter aimed at the internal public of an institution, whether public or private, aiming to highlight the areas and services offered by the company, in addition to disseminating important information such as events, awards, meetings, corporate actions. The present work proposes to analyze this type of information as a memory tool. The object of the research is the institutional newspaper "Bom Dia Casal", from the Companhia de Saneamento de Alagoas. This type of communication channel involves information, users, institutional journalism and organizational culture. Institutional communication deals with the need for information, with culture and with journalism. We recognize that it is not an easy task to understand the intersection between them, therefore, as a way of helping understanding, this study intends, far from exhausting the subject, to establish a conceptual dialogue between the themes. To carry out the study, bibliographic and hemerographic research was carried out.
