The article discusses that in the South Cloister of the Wilkins Building of University College London (UCL) two ancient lions stand guard over the entrance to the offices of UCL's President and Provost. It mentions that images and mentions of lions occur throughout the Dynastic Period, especially in relation to royal hunting escapades; and also mentions that three-dimensional images of lions are rarer.
