- Abstract
In the article, the authors present a case of a 52-year-old male who was rushed to the emergency unit of a hospital due to high fever, cough and shortness of breath. His condition worsened and he underwent endotracheal intubation. He later developed acute respiratory failure due to COVID-19, Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia (PJP), and stage 3 human immunodeficiency (HIV) while at the intensive care unit (ICU).
