- Abstract
From a transdisciplinary and integral vision, within the limits of the disciplines of Guidance and Children's Literature, it is proposed to analyze the influence that fairy tales produce in the personal-social development, identifying the consequences that they can cause in the vocational choice of young people - between 17 and 25 years old-from the city of Valladolid. This research presents a qualitative design, with an interpretative approach, based on a Case Study, with two Mini Cases of the following populations: 45 students in the High Schools' 12th grade and 42 students 1st and 2nd year of different degrees. A mixed data collection strategy is used, based on surveys and interviews, and a subsequent documentary analysis of fairy tales as a triangulation strategy. Among the most significant findings, it is identified that from the perceptions that young people have regarding the beauty of the aesthetic experiences lived by the enchantment of fairy tales, the influence of these could be recognized in various aspects such as identification with the characters, what such experiences generate, the aspirations and decisions taken when choosing a path to follow.
