- Abstract
The author reflects upon a study, showing the efficacy of aspirin in reducing incidences of colorectal cancer, during long term follow-up in healthy men and patients with recent transient ischemic attack (TIA). He comments that the study showed protective effects of the aspirin as the doses were much higher, compared to other studies. He suggests the possibility of diagnostic access bias due to crossover between treatment groups. He also comments on the side effects of long-term, aspirin use.
