- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 49-year-old man with an eight-month history of productive cough, mucopurulent expectoration without blood, progressive dyspnea and asthenia. The patient underwent chest radiography and chest high-resolution computed tomography (CT) which lead to the diagnosis of pulmonary paracoccidiodomycosis (PCM). The article also discusses the prevalence of PCM, the causes, and the common CT findings.
