- Abstract
The article announces that the church Community of Christ, known until 2001 as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (RLDS), has been accepted as a member of the national ecumenical body the General Assembly of the National Council of the Churches of Christ in the USA (NCCC) as of November 10, 2010. The author discusses the history of RLDS, explores the growth of the ecumenical movement, and examines the NCCC's relationship with the World Council of Churches (WCC).
