- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates if vitamin A levels were incorporated with the risk of multiple sclerosis (MS) . It states that the retinol binding protein (RBP) and high sensitivity C -reactive protein (hs-CRP) levels in the collected biobank blood samples from MS cases and controls were measured. Results show that RBP levels within the second quintile were associated with a lower MS risk and there is no effect on MS risk in the offspring by gestational RBP levels.
