- Abstract
The article discusses research which showed that H3K27me3 reduction and DNA hypomethylation are indicators of poorly prognostic childhood posterior fossa (PF) ependymomas. Topics discussed include the lack of recurrent genetic mutations of the tumors, biological and clinical similarities of PF-ve tumors with PF group A (PFA) ependymomas and common epigenetic deregulation of select factors that control radial glial biology.
