- Abstract
The article discusses the characterization and removal of natural organic matter (NOM) at several water treatment plants in Southern Africa. It analyzes and examines the dissolved organic carbon (DOC) measurements that these plants used to evaluate the number of NOM in drinking water sources. Findings reveal that different NOM fractions were removed after the adoption of several treatment processes.
