- Abstract
The article focuses on the investigation of salt migration in the mounted papyri collections of the Bodleian Library Oriental Department. It says that 463 objects from 10 collections were examined in relation to their storage, type of tape used, and affected surface area. Result shows that salt deposits were found in 270 objects, 98% stored in wooden boxes, and 50% of the object's surface area, but do not completely obscure the text.
