- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a Cushing's syndrome patient who exhibited bipolar disorder symptoms. The psychiatric symptoms of the 61-year-old woman disappeared after undergoing gamma knife surgery for pituitary microadenoma. The authors suggest that cortisol level monitoring may help with the differential diagnosis of Cushing's syndrome and bipolar disorder.
