- Abstract
The article focuses on the digestive bleeding in liver transplant and diagnosis of Visceral leishmaniasis (VL) in the transplant of a patient. Topics discussed include transmission of Leishmaniasis, anthropozoonotic parasitosis by sandfly bites, confirmation of the diagnosis by smears of bone marrow aspirate, and use of polymerase chain reaction for both diagnosis and blood sampling.
