- Abstract
The aim of this study is to determine the level of relationship between leadership styles of school administrators and entrepreneurship characteristics. This research is in a descriptive relational survey model. The sample of the research consists of 395 school administrators working in public schools in Ankara in the 2019-2020 academic year. In the study, two different scales were used to determine the level of relationship between leadership styles of school administrators and entrepreneurship characteristics. The measurement tool used in the study was applied by the researcher to 395 school administrators working in Ankara between the dates of 9-13 December 2019 in the 2019-2020 academic year, and the data were collected. It has been determined that school administrators’ perceptions of leadership and entrepreneurship levels are sometimes at the level. It was determined that there are moderately positive relationships between variables. In addition, the variables of transformational, interactional and liberal leadership together gave a high level and significant relationship with entrepreneurship. As a result of providing pre-service and in-service trainings to administrators in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education and universities for the development of leadership and entrepreneurship skills of school administrators, leadership and entrepreneurship skills of administrators can be used more effectively in schools.
