- Abstract
The article describes a method to reduce artifacts by acquiring additional reference blade during acquisition. The technique arises from nonuniform fast spin echo-based periodically rotated overlapping parallel lines with enhanced reconstruction (PROPELLER). It notes that the technique is developed for high-field imaging applications where time decay is rapid. Additional blade with no phase-encoding gradients is also acquired in generating the scaling factor used for the correction.
