- Abstract
The article offers information related to the flaws and potential solutions of Indiana's civil forfeiture system, which is advantageous to the State and detrimental to individuals. It argues that the core issues contributing to Indiana's flawed civil forfeiture system are the strong profit motive of the State, an easily satisfied standard of proof, insufficient access to counsel, and the lack of the right to a jury trial.
