- Abstract
The article reports a case of breast pain and rash post-coronary artery bypass grafting in an end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patient. According to the authors, the lesions and histopathology indicate calcific uremic arteriolopathy (CUA; calciphylaxis), a known complication of ESRD. The final diagnosis was bilateral focal ischemic breast necrosis due to CUA.
