- Abstract
The article examines the role of combining behavioural with biomedical interventions for the reduction of sexually transmitted infections in low- and middle-income countries. Topics discussed include promotion of sexual well-being, HIV testing and risk-reduction counselling, and comprehensive sexuality education. Also mentioned are the challenges to successful integration of behavioural interventions, use of digital technologies, and shift from a disease-centered approach to sexual well-being.
