- Abstract
A durable and high‐quality superomniphobic coating that gives good repellency to water and organic liquid with lower surface tension is critical for basic research and practical applications. Although it has made significant progress, incorporating flame retardancy without sacrificing its superomniphobicity and durability remains a challenge. Here, these challenges are addressed by one‐step spraying suspension consisting of epoxy resin, micro/nano‐particles, and flame retardant. The durability and flame retardancy can be regulated by adjusting the mass ratio of different components and curing temperature. The resulting coating possesses good superomniphobicity (repelling liquids with surface tension as low as 21 mN m−1) and mechanochemical durability even under severe environments such as harsh abrasion, high temperature, erosion of aqua regia, and other strong alkaline substances. In addition, the coating is resistant to metal corrosion and exhibits excellent flame retardance ability. Combined with this convenient spraying process, the coating is more conducive to realizing industrial production.
