- Abstract
The article presents a study on the detection of specific genes for genetically modified (GM) soybean and maize by using multiplex polymerase chain reaction (PCR) with primer extension on a plastic plate. It discusses on the DNA microarray method which helps detect target DNA sequences in GM soybean and GM maize optically. It concludes on the development of new detection method for GMOs by using multiplex PCR.
