- Abstract
The article presents a study on the nuclear form of the Arabidopsis thaliana AtbZIP60 transcription factor during the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress response. In this study, total RNA from the Arabidopsis thaliana seedlings treated with tunicamycin were extracted using the aurintricarboxylic acid method. Results reveal that the amino acids 41-80 of AtbZIP60 of exhibits transcriptional activity and AtbZIP60's nuclear form exists as a protein complex during the ER stress response.
