- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a-year-old male who underwent posterolateral thoracotomy for Pancoast tumor of the right upper pulmonary lobe with infiltration of the vertebral body. On postoperative day, he was found to have a lesion within the spinal canal. He died a year later due to the progression of the underlying oncological disease. The occurrence catastrophic complication following the inappropriate use of oxidized regenerated cellulose in spinal surgery is discussed.
