The article discusses study on improved corrosion protection due to organic corrosion inhibitors in waterborne paint coatings. Topics discussed include "IMPACT-the International Measures of Prevention, Application, and Economics of Corrosion Technologies" study released by National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE) International, evaluation of anticorrosion properties using a combination of electrochemical tests, microscopy and spectroscopic techniques; and volatile organic compounds.
