- Abstract
The article presents a case report of a patient suffering from mycosis fungoides treated with bleomycin. The patient who was a male aged 63 years had developed pink, scaly, slightly itchy patches on the left forearm which progressively spread, became redder and more itchy. Skin biopsy 4 years ago supported the clinical diagnosis of a premycotic eruption; a lymph-node showed only dermatopathic lymphadenitis. He was treated with systemic steroids without benefit and as he deteriorated, chlorambucil and then radiotherapy with some temporary benefit. An identical twin had alopecia areata but no other skin disease.
