- Abstract
The article discusses a case report of psoriasis of the lips in a 45-year-old woman. Histopathologic examination of a biopsy taken from the lip revealed mounds of parakeratosis with neutrophils, a thin granular layer, psoriasiform acanthosis, and spongioform pustules. Biopsies of the vulva and nail also confirmed the diagnosis of psoriasis. Methotrexate therapy, 10 milligrams/week orally, was started. After 6 weeks, the patient's lip lesions improved significantly.
