- Title
Reflections on the Scandal of Particularity.
- Authors
Foster Connors, Andrew
- Abstract
The author asks how do diverse ways of understanding election among Christians and Jews create opportunities for new relationship and/or threats to each other? Is a new Jewish privileging of the written Torah beneficial for dialogue with Protestant Christians? How widely is this move observed/accepted among religious Jews? How should Christians respond to the question/theology of land and election? Is there room within Judaism for gentile believers in the God of Israel or are Christians part of a mass of non-Jews?
