- Abstract
Extracting the periodic signals of the GPS coordinate time series accurately is of great significance in the research and analysis of various geophysical phenomena and the provision of better positioning and navigation services. However, the actual GPS time series are usually noisy and non-equi-interval sampling, which has a great impact on the periodic detection of time series. To overcome this problem, this paper obtains the coordinate residual time series by calculation and adjustment with GAMIT/GLOBK software and analyzes the spectrum characteristics and periodic features using the Lomb-Scargle algorithm. The results show that this method has a good effect on detecting GPS residual time series period and can provide a theoretical basis for further study of time series noise removal and analysis of station motion law.
