The article discusses urolithiasis has a common presenting urological complaint, with an overall prevalence in North America of 7–13%. Topics include patients with bilateral complicated stones, such as staghorn calculi, simultaneous bilateral percutaneous nephrolithotomy (SB-PCNL) has emerged as an effective endourological procedure; and the patient's vital signs at presentation have heart rate 95 beats/minute.
