- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 47-year-old man who was referred for further evaluation of progressive visual loss in both eyes for 3 months. It mentions that video-oculography documented intermittent windmill nystagmus with a counter-clockwise rotation of the beating direction. It informs that genetic analysis for Leber’s hereditary optic neuropathy was negative for mitochondrial DNAs. It states that Windmill nystagmus resembles periodic alternating nystagmus (PAN).
