- Abstract
The article discusses research on functionalized single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT). It cites unique structure, thermal stability and electronic properties of SWCNT which make them useful in various fields such as molecular electronics and nanomedicine. It reports experimental procedures performed including treatment of SWCNT with disulfides, thermogravimetric analysis and monitoring of weight loss. The use of Raman spectroscopy in evaluating sidewall-functionalized SWCNT is also noted.
