- Abstract
Seventeen protein-constitutive and free amino acids were isolated and determined from the fruit-bodies of Tricholoma giganteum. Aspartic acid and alanine were the most abundant protein constitutive amino acids. Among the free amino acids, alanine, glutamic acid, serine, aspartic acid and glycine were present in the largest amounts, with aspartic acid and glutamic acids especially dominant.
