Summary: 瘙痒(或发痒)是许多皮肤病、全身性疾病以及心理障碍的一种常见症状,非常令人苦恼。发痒可能是最常见的皮肤病主要症状。8% 至 9% 的患者在两周时间内会有显著瘙痒。该指南关注有瘙痒但无皮疹的情况,而不是发痒性皮疹。此外,该指南并未涉及儿童瘙痒以及妊娠期瘙痒,也未详述瘙痒原因。研究组成员大多是来自英国多家医院的皮肤科医生(皮肤科专家),当然也包括其他医院的医生、护士以及全科医生 (GP)。血液紊乱、缺铁或铁过量、肾脏问题、肝脏问题、癌症、感染、药物治疗、行为因素、皮肤干燥或任意综合症状以及衰老等都可能是瘙痒的基础病因。皮肤瘙痒但无皮疹的病例很多,占 20% 至 30%。皮肤瘙痒但无明显基础病因或皮疹的个体数量仍占少数。应始终探讨基础的致病条件,因为只有针对任何基础疾病对症治疗,才能最有效地管理非皮疹性瘙痒。即使无法治疗基础病因,也要针对具体情况来进行瘙痒管理。而对于病因未知的真正瘙痒的管理又有所不同。
