The article discusses a study which investigated the improvement of the impaired quality of life of acquired idiopathic generalized anhidrosis (AIGA) patients using steroid pulse therapy. Topics discussed include treatment options for AIGA and its clinical features. A graph is also presented showing mean Skindex-16 subscale scores before and after steroid pulse therapy.
