- Authors
Fluhr, J. W.; Nast, A.
- Abstract
In this article, the authors discuss the article on severe acne vulgaris patients receiving fixed combined treatment of adapalene-benzoyl peroxide (BPO) gel for 24 weeks by Poulin and colleagues. The authors state that study of Poulin and colleagues revealed redeced acne symptoms and prevents acne relapse. The authors argue that further studies should be conducted to understand adapalene-BPO superiority in maintenance treatments over monotherapies.
