- Abstract
This scientific article analyzes the multimorbidity and clinical outcomes of a pediatric population with suspected COVID-19 treated at a Mexican hospital. The observational study included 98 children, of whom 24 tested positive for COVID-19 and 74 tested negative. The main symptoms in this population were fever, cough, and general discomfort. It was found that 11 children died, 4 of whom tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 but also had other comorbidities. This study contributes to a better understanding of the epidemiological and clinical patterns of COVID-19 in children in Mexico.
