- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 67-year-old woman with one month of diffuse itching. She was exposed to the 1984 Bhopal gas leak that cause to the release of 30 tons of methyl isocyanate gas while she worked as a nurse and living in India. She underwent a bone marrow biopsy which reveals an acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It examines the long-term health effects of the gas disaster at Bhopal.
