- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates two clinical trials of standard chemotherapy conducted by the Great Britain Medical Research Council (MRC)/National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) on older or younger patients with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). Topics include change in therapies for older patients and age-related eligibility for trials, statistical methods such as Cox regression used in the trials, and remission rates and cytogenetics of patients.
