- Abstract
The article reports on the use of protocols to aid pathologists in the U.S. in providing useful information when giving out results of surgical specimen examinations in patients with carcinoma in the urethra. It notes that protocols can be used in invasive carcinomas and carcinoma in situ. A checklist of the summary of surgical pathology cancer cases is also presented along with explanations pertaining to the history of urethral biopsies, histologic type, and sections for microscopic evaluation.
