- Authors
Harrison, W. D.; Chandrasekar, C. R.
- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 78 year old lady with Stewart-Treves syndrome, a rare cutaneous angiosarcoma, and a 9-year history of bilateral chronic leg lymphoedema. She was referred to the regional sarcoma service in June 204 after her left leg had an extensive infected, fungating tumour below the knee all the way to her ankle. An urgent palliative above knee amputation was done to remove the focus of sepsis and was transferred back to her local hospital for rehabilitation.
