- Abstract
The article presents case study of five year old Labrador retriever who was suffering from stifle disruption and was treated using a stifle stabilizing implant. Topics discussed includes stifle joint stabilization as a key concern for such surgeries, limb lameness experienced by the dog after slipping on ice, evaluation of other treatment options, acepromazine premedication given to dog, removal of damaged cranial during surgery, post operative icing process and complete recovery after surgery.
