- Abstract
The article presents the case study of a 48 year old woman who was misdiagnosed as a mucinous carcinoma. The woman was presented at the Institut Gustave Roussy with para areolar nodule of the right breast. The clinical impression was in favor of malignancy, and ultrasonography showed an oval nodule with irregular borders. It is stated that tubular adenoma of the breast is a rare and benign tumour and clinically indistinguishable from fibroadenoma.
