- Abstract
Analyzes the expression of CD54, CD28, CTLA-4 and CD3 molecules in T cells in patients with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL). Description of the criteria for diagnosis and disease progression used in the research; Observation of higher frequency of CD4, CD54 expression on T cells in patients with progressive disease than in patients under controlled treatment; Revelation that mechanisms of the T cell dysfunction in B-CLL is not fully understood; Increase in surface and interacellular expression of CTLA-4 on T cells in patients with progressive B-CLL.
