- Abstract
The article presents a study which evaluates the potential of three-dimensional contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance venography (3D-CE-MRV) in the detection of renal vein thrombosis (RVT). A comparison between 3D-CE-MRV and multidetector computed tomography (CT) venography is offered. The study concludes that 3D-CE-MRV is an optimal alternative for the detection of RVT due to its high diagnostic accuracy.
