- Abstract
The article reports on a study that investigated the difference of the frequency-specific threshold shifts between occupational and impulse noise. According to the study, the shift induced by occupational noise reached up to 13 decibels among men aging 65 years and up. In addition, impulse noise have recorded close to 8 decibels among men with ages ranging from 45-64.
