- Abstract
The article presents case study of a 84-year-old man who underwent chemoradiotherapy for treatment of thoracic esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. It presents information on observation of villous structures with white vesicles and enlarged and meandering superficial vessels without irregularity upon narrow-band imaging with magnified endoscopy. It states that early detection of duodenal metastasis may contribute to a successful response to chemotherapy and improved prognosis.
